How the angel number calculator works
Numerology reduces meaningful information, like a birth date or a name, to a single root number. Your personal angel number is that root repeated: a root of 7 becomes 777, a root of 3 becomes 333. The master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are kept as they are and become 1111, 2222 and 3333.
By birthday (life path number). Each part of the date is reduced separately, then added together and reduced again. For 14 March 1992: the month 3 stays 3, the day 14 becomes 1 + 4 = 5, the year 1992 becomes 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 21 and then 2 + 1 = 3. Then 3 + 5 + 3 = 11, a master number, so the angel number is 1111.
By name (expression number). Each letter has a value from 1 to 9 (A = 1, B = 2 … I = 9, J = 1 and so on). The values of your full birth name are added and reduced the same way. Accents are read as their base letter.
Birthday or name: which one should I use?
Your life path number, from your birthday, describes the overall direction of your life and never changes. Your expression number, from your name, describes your natural talents and how you present yourself. Many people find that one feels more accurate than the other, so try both and see which one resonates.
Frequently asked questions
What is my angel number?
In numerology, your personal angel number is usually your life path number repeated. Enter your date of birth above: the calculator reduces it to a root number and shows the angel number that matches it, together with its full meaning.
Can I have more than one angel number?
Yes. Your birthday number and your name number are often different, and you may also keep seeing other numbers in daily life. Each one is worth reading; the number you see repeatedly right now often speaks to your current situation.
Is my data stored?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser. Your date of birth and name are never sent to our servers or saved.
